2 Memory box stencils : Scraped Paint &Texture Splatter

Texture paste and spritzed it with

Cracked Pistachio, mermaid lagoon and Fired Brick.

The digi was coloured using Derwent Inktense Pencils.

Seam binding ribbon bow, pearls Spellbinders.

A new challenge for February!

I have used Sherry Baldys 'My Besties Img 686' for this challenge.

For the background I used a stencil & texture paste with 3 colours of 

Tim Holtz distress Inks, Pickled Raspberry, Wild Honey & Tumbled Glass.

Made quilled flowers. The buds are from Wild Orchid.

Coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils.

MSC Count Your Life

I am so eager to make some new cards for challengers.  Unfortunately though I

am struggling to get things straight.  This is due to still not having full control

and movement of my left hand - but it is improving!

This card is not my usual style but I wanted to use a new stencil I bought at

the beginning of the year and thought the Ombre challenge at Mod Squad fitted it well.  Well

I hope I got the Ombre part right!

I am trying to expand on my style of card making and I hope with some success!

I have done very little mixed media but prepared to give it a go!  I just love all the 

texture you get from mixed media but want to keep it to cards and not canvasses or scrapbooking 

so I hope I can achieve that.

Stencils - Memory Box Scraped Paint; Stars cut on Silhouette

Spray mists I made with Tim Holtz re-inkers (Broken China; Abandoned Coral) and added

some Perfect Pearls to give a shine.

Sentiment; GKD A Year of Flowers

Twine

The flowers have been fussy cut, decoupaged and painted with Glossy Accents.

The pink card has been painted with Gesso and Music script (Kaiser Craft) stamped

with Staz On black ink.

Fairy Fun

Hello!

Recently I bought Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime and shared it with my friend

as we both have grand daughters who love Fairies.

I saw a box made up on the G45 Blog by Solange Marques and fell in love with the design

so thought it would make a lovely birthday present for my 9 year old grandie.  There is quite a

lot of work to it but then I do have until June 1 to complete it.  In the meantime I have made

up a birthday card for her.

I joined a Free On line Tag class using Graphic 45 'A Time To Flourish' Papers

This stack gives 2 sheets of paper for each month of the year and is really beautiful but what

am I going to make with it?  I don't want to make tags only cards.  The lessons are easily

converted into cards which I have done with mine.   I have used the March papers, which 

 has a St Patrick's Day theme and as I am not Irish or have any Irish friends I used it to 

practise.  I have virtually case'd the design from the January lesson.
