Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge 51

Hello!

I made a few Thanksgiving cards for my daughter and this is one where I used

a digi from Doodle Pantry.  I have just realized that I can enter it into a 

challenge at Doodle Pantry.

I have colored and fussy cut the image.

As I am not at home while posting this I cannot quite remember exactly which 

Spellbinders die I used and color of the the distressed inks.

I believe the grass stamp  and leaf are from GinaK stamps (I think the sentiment too - if not

then it is from IBS)

Color Challenge Sept 23, 2014

Our Tuesday Color Challenge has been posted and here are the details for this week.

Our inspirational photo was chosen by Ina

All you need to do is choose 3 colors from the pallet and make your card or project.

There is a twist and that is to 'Make it Floral'.

The colors I chose are:  Azure, Morning Sun and Sweet Mandarin

The digi image is pre colored and comes with a wonderful colored sheet which I have

Rosh Hashanah Cards (Jewish New Year)

Hello!

Every year ever since arriving in Perth Western Australia we have been invited 

to the same friends to enjoy a New Year (Rosh Hashanah) meal with them

and their family.  It is always a wonderful experience even though there

have been changes over the years.  By this I mean that our daughter Kim no longer joins us as she

has her Rabbinical duties at her Temple and our friends children,

 2 sons (1 in Sydney and 1 in Hong Kong) no longer join us either but their 

daughter now married with 2 children always include us together with her inlaws.

Here are some cards I have made for different members of the family.

The images and designer paper are from 'Coolscrapdigital' and created by Ems Art.

Card in a Box for Halloween

Hello!

I know Halloween is at the end of October but I had fun making this card/box today.

This is for my little grandson so I have not finished it as well as the 

Explosion Box I made for the granddaughter as he is 3 years younger.

My box & cut outs were all made on the Silhouette Cameo thanks to

Miss Kate Cuttables Freebies.  I have added googly eyes to the spiders & bat which make

them look more fun.  Not sure yet if I should mount it on another box or

make a box to fit on the back which can be filled with candy.  Oh boy, decisions, decisions.

from Australian Simply Cards Magazine.

IBSIC #85 Chevrons

This is my second card for the Inspired By Stamping Challenge and is

I have taken some patterned paper and stamped a few chevrons on it.  I have also used a

Chevron stencil and texture paste which has been colored with Tim Holtz Scattered Straw

Distress Ink.

Inspired by stamping stamp sets used:   Mini Chevrons, Garden Seed Packets, Background Basics II.

Distress Inks:  Scattered Straw, Shabby Shutters, Victorian Velvet.

Graphic 45 Steampunk Explosion Box

Hello!

A while ago my friend & I bought Graphic 45 which was on sale.  We decided to share the 12 x 12 & 

6 x 6 paper pads of the Steampunk Spell.  I have been looking at it virtually

every day and wondering what to do with it!  I decided to see what inspiration I could get

from Pinterest and what a variety!

 Halloween is not big in Australia and not with me but my Daughter-in-law takes the kids to a couple

of neighbors to get a treat.  I decided to make an explosion box with a small box inside for

some candy from.  This is suitable for the granddaughter - will have to think of something

for the grandson!  I can't believe how much fun I had making this and cutting bits & pieces

with my Silhouette.  Thanks to Miss Kate Cuttables and Bird  for the SVG's.
