White card stock, Green card stock

My card measures 5" x 51/2"

I have distressed the edges of the green card stock and the Spring Lilac designer papers and 

rubbed them with Vintage Photo.

The birdcage I have rubbed with the Inca Gold.

The lilacs have been fussy cut from the dp and popped up with foam dots.

The Bird & butterflies are stamped, colored and painted with glossy accents and added with

foam dots.

The tag is stamped with  'Vintage Photo' and tied to the birdcage with twine 

and popped up with foam dots.

The colors never seem to look the same on the computer so I try to go by the name of the color.

Hope I got it right!

What I used:

Inspired by Stamping Set;  Garden Seed Packets

The Designer Paper is from" KaiserCraft 'Vintage Timeless'. 

 I have stamped it with the script stamp from IBS 'Spring Lilacs' as well as 'French Country Backgrounds'.

The lace is from IBS.

The butterflies are from Cheery Lynn.

I have been so intrigued with the Explosion Box that I just had to try it!

Well it has taken me a few days as I wasn't sure how I wanted to decorate it and

I have seen some amazing boxes on Google Images.  

Mine is quite simple compared to some.

Here it is!!

I will have to explain this for my non crafty friends

The top left hand corner is the box lid; the 4 extended pieces fold up and the lid holds them 

together.

Wishing You a Happy Birthday - Graphic 45 'Secret Garden'

I recently purchased a pad of Graphic 45 'Secret Garden' paper.  I love this paper and

so wanted it but I have been really nervous to use it!

Yes I have used other Graphic 45 papers but was told that this particular one will no longer

be available so that is the reason for being cautious.  I think I was lucky to find a supplier on line

who had it in stock.

This morning I decided to give it a go and this is my card.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Inspired by Stamping - Chalkboard Birthday & Mason Jar Add-On II

Inspired by Stamping Lace & White Seam Binding (which has been distressed with 

Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye).

White pearls which I have colored using Scripto Marker

As I have used the Sentiment, Lace & Seam Binding from IBS, I will enter it into their monthly Customer Gallery!

Shabby Chic & Envelope

Hello!

I love Shabby Chic & Vintage!  So I decided to enter my friend Donna's

MIUM's  (Mix it up Monday) challenge at Stamptv. She  Guest Designer!

This is my card

There is quite a lot going on with this card.

The designer paper I chose is from Prima's Botanical Gardens

which I have altered to some extent so it really doesn't look too much like the original

I have used a stencil and texture paste as you can see in the top left hand corner.and 

sponged it with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  I did that to the bottom right hand corner too.

I have distressed the edges too.

The frame is a Free Cut File called Tiara Frame from Stamptv.

I have used Inca Gold paste (Antique Gold and Platinum) on the frame but again it is

difficult to see on the photo.

The rose is from Melanie Meunchinger's 'A Year of Flowers' which

 I have embossed in Gold

I have added pearls, lace & a flower and some faux stitching.

The envelope also has the rose stamped and embossed in gold.

have been so involved and fascinated with learning how to use it!

Male Chalkboard Birthday

Hello and Welcome!

Today my card is a Chalkboard Birthday card

using stamps from Inspired By Stamping called Chalkboard Birthday.

I first laid out the stamps I wanted to used and then stamped on black card with 

Versamark and embossed in white.  I then re stamped with a whited pigment ink

and smudged here and there making it look like chalk.  I also drew a border

with a white pencil.

My chevrons were cut using the Spellbinders Edgeabilities die and the

Design paper is Graphic 45.
